XXXVIII Champion Crowned

The IGTWCC XXXVIII Champion has been crowned with manager qpeace claiming his 6th IGT World Club Championship as his Beginners Mind RFC, beat the reigning champions Smaug's Team, managed by marifka 10 - 39 at The Lonely Mountain Stadium, in the Netherlands.

The defending champions, were probably favourites before the 1st whistle, but when they already faced a 0-10 deficit at the 8th minute, the writing was on the wall, and the Mind dominated the game from that moment.

Conratulations to qpeace with a fine win, and he joins an illustrious few who have won 6 IGTWCC Championships....well done mate.

However, as always both managers should be congratulated on fine seasons.

Congratulations to all the other winners, who will now be able to represent the IGTWCC in the WCC Masters.

Next we have "The Laboriose Award", which is awarded to the team or teams who I think has shown commitment and effort, and hard work "Above and Beyond" throughout the IGTWCC Tournament. Laboriose is a latin word which is defined as: laboriously, with great effort.

This season we have one recipient of The Laboriose Award, and that is manager prophail who's Parramatta Old Boys had a good run in the Plate, knocking over some good teams this season, but ultimately ending up in 4th Place. He has been with the WCC Comps since at least Season 6, and he and managers like him are the reason our comps have been running since the beginning
